1983 Jackson Flying V

This guitar is one of the earliest Jacksons made and the 2nd Flying V ever. It features a special graphic design that screams 80s. Otherwise the specs are quite common for the student Jacksons of the era. Compared to my other San Dimas Flying Vs the only major differences are the input jack location and back cavity shapes.

The finish is cracking all over the guitar but there aren't many actual dings on it. The white has yellowed to a great vintage look. The neck is quite fat and has a very typical early Jackson profile. Like my blue 1985 V this one also weighs a lot and it could be that the body is actually made of maple.

Special thanks to Robert!
